Anton A. Samoylov is a Chemical Engineering PhD. candidate advised by Dr. Adam D. Printz in the Department of Chemical & Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona. Anton was recently awarded the NASA Space Technology Graduate Research Opportunity (NSTGRO) to pursue the development of mechanically robust perovskite solar cell composites. Anton was previously an NSF-funded Research Trainee working to confront food-energy-water challenges within Indigenous communities. Prior to his graduate studies, Anton received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of California - San Diego, working with bio-based and bio-degradable plastics. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Anton’s research interests are motivated by novel technologies developed for a sustainable future.
