Dr. Ishita Jalan is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Physical Chemistry at Karlstad University, Sweden. Her research centers on solution chemistry and the morphological properties of thin polymer films for organic solar cells, with a strong focus on utilizing microgravity as a tool to investigate thin film formation and solvent effects. Her PhD at Karlstad University explored alternative, environmentally friendly solvent systems using microgravity experiments and modeling techniques to better understand and optimize organic photovoltaic materials. With prior degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology and the University of Manchester, she brings international, interdisciplinary experience to the development of sustainable energy technologies.
