Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry & Professor of Chemistry and Nanotechnology With 18+ years of experience across electrochemistry, photochemistry, materials science, petrochemistry, crystallography, and thin-film PVs, he has published extensively in chemistry, crystallography, solar cells, corrosion, photocatalysis, and computational chemistry. He holds 14 patents spanning hi-tech materials, EC CO2-to-fuels, methane-to-methanol/olefin, EC gas desulfurization, water-based polymers, methanol separation membranes, large-scale nanomaterials, nanocomposites, perovskite PVs, and natural sweetener crystallization. He has coordinated 7 projects: natural gas desulfurization (TRL 7), ambient methane-to-methanol reactors (TRL 7), electrochromic photonic mirrors (TRL 5), EC methane-to-olefin systems (TRL 6), optic nanocrystalline slurries (TRL 7), EC CO2-to-methanol (TRL 5), and PV-PC-EC atmospheric CO2-to-methanol (TRL 4). Currently CEO/CRO of Iritaly Trading Company S.r.l., he manages SUNPEROM (Horizon Europe/EIC 101223212) and NEXTCCUS (ERA-NET ACT 2021) projects. Concurrently, as a Senior Scientist at the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Electronics Engineering), he research on perovskite solar modules and novel 2D perovskite structures.
