Paul Sellin is a Professor of Physics at the University of Surrey in the UK. He received his BSc from the University of Birmingham UK, and his PhD in Nuclear Physics from the University of Edinburgh. He has had more than 30 years of research experience in the development and characterisation of radiation detectors and detector materials. His work has combined fundamental studies of detector materials and their properties, together with detector applications in nuclear physics, medical imaging, and security detection. His research focuses on the development of perovskite materials for use as radiation detectors, including the study of metal halide perovskite semiconductors and low dimensional perovskite scintillators.
